Farm Fest 2026 Highlight
The annual Richmond Farm Fest was back this year on September 13th, 2026 at Garden City Lands. This beautiful family event is something we look forward to all year long - bringing together the community of Richmond & beyond around food, agriculture, and connection. Hosted at Garden City Lands, where the Kwantlen Polytechnic University Farm is located, this event is a great, interactive way to introduce families to where food can come from, and all the hard work that goes into creating sustainable food systems in our community. This even is the work of many hands and the KPU Farm staff spend months preparing to ensure everything is ready for this huge event! Many of the Sustainable Agriculture students take part in the event as well, from hosting activities for children and families, helping press apples into cider, hosting wagon tours, working the farm stand, processing flax, and so much more! We're so grateful to everyone who brings this event to life!
We are lucky to be a part of Farm Fest and bring a mini-version of our Kwantlen Farmers Market. Some of our amazing market vendors came out for the day and be a part of this awesome event and share what they do with the community.
